Jeet Kune Do Instructor Alf Cocco

Alf Cocco has been studying Jeet Kune Do, Kali and Silat since 1993 and has been teaching publicly in Sydney, Australia since 2003.

He is the head of the Sydney Kali Academy and one of Australia’s leading Jeet Kune Do and Kali instructors.

With over 21 years experience in the Martial Arts, Alf is certified by Guro Dan Inosanto, Paul Vunak and Walt Missingham.

In addition he has trained with numerous other great martial artists such as Erik Paulson, Larry Hartsell and Chai Sirusute.

The Sydney Kali Academy is located in Hurstville, NSW and offers classes in Jun Fan Gung Fu, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, Indonesian Silat and the Filipino Martial Arts.

Alf believes that the practice of martial arts develops self defence and self development and that both are equally important.

Using the concepts of Jeet Kune Do allows students to develop at their own pace.

Alf’s teaching methods focus on the basics as well as understanding the history, culture and philosophy of the arts presented.

His goal is to see students develop to their full potential in all areas of life using martial arts as the catalyst.
